You can go to the always delightful Ibiza for it. It is authentic, decorated with great taste, off the beaten path, and yet close to everything. That is Can Sastre.
Boutique Hotel Can Sastre is essentially a small-scale agritourism where you can enjoy yourself to the fullest for various reasons. A perfectly balanced combination of formal and casual looks, hospitality and delicious food. Lodewijk opened, among others, in the Netherlands boutiquehotelweesp, boathouse.amsterdam en the Eendracht. Nowadays, he focuses mainly on Ibiza (we get it!), and together with Leontine (who gained her work experience in the fashion industry), they restyled all the rooms, gardens (oh, the gardens!), terraces, and the swimming pool in early 2026. Beautiful new fabrics and, if possible, even more of that lovely Mediterranean look and the unique finca atmosphere of Can Sastre.
On the grounds of Can Sastre, there are three casitas and two villa suites (one of which accommodates four): all are delightfully stylishly decorated. There are soft pull-out beds, you’ll find fine local products in the shower, and almost all the cottages have a private terrace to comfortably discuss the day in the evening (and sip a drink). In the morning, you shuffle towards breakfast by the central pool and the small bar. All products come from local suppliers and are delivered fresh daily. You can taste it. If you decide to pool day – which we would welcome – then the sunbeds and parasols are waiting for you. Forget the rest: you want to stay at Can Sastre.
Location, location, location
Ibiza needs no introduction, but this spot is perfect: the boutique hotel Can Sastre is located near the village of Santa Gertrudis in the middle of Ibiza, exactly where you want to be. Off the beaten track, yet within a maximum 20-minute drive of the island’s best spots. You can head north for peace and quiet, to favorite village Santa Gertrudis within 5 minutes, or west for delightful Cala Gracioneta. Or you can simply stay put and just hang out in paradise at Can Sastre.
The eye wants something too
For the hotel’s interior design, the duo drew inspiration from the surroundings: light colors and natural tones. Characteristic of Can Sastre are all the cozy seating areas filled with piles of cushions and that ultimate Mediterranean atmosphere—perfect for sinking into after a day of exploring the island. But the exterior is also a sight to behold: the brightly colored flowering shrubs stand out beautifully against the white-plastered walls of the finca.
Keffers & offspring
Bundle the kids up nicely. The villa suite has two bedrooms and is perfect for families. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
